In June 2013 we were certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) by the Tokyo Customs.
To respond to various needs from our customers, we provide safe and reliable services of time-consuming customs clearance procedures by our staff with specialized knowledge of the laws and regulations.

　General Flow of Customs Clearance Procedures

For Import

To receive a cargo arrived in Japan from a foreign country, an import declaration has to be made to the competent customs in the area where the cargo is stored.
Customs inspection is carried out for the cargo, when it is required. And customs duty, internal consumption tax and local consumption tax must be paid, if necessary,
After all these procedures, an import permit is obtained.(After the import permit is obtained, the cargo is regarded as a domestics cargo, and can be received at any time.)
A series of these procedures are customs clearance procedures.
If a permission or an approval is required for the cargo in accordance with laws and regulations other than tariff-related laws,
such requirement has to be fulfilled before obtaining the import permit from the customs.

For Export

To export a cargo, an export declaration has to be made to the competent customs and its permit has to be obtained through a necessary inspection for the cargo.
An export declaration can be made before the cargo is carried in to the bonded area, but in principle its permit is given after the cargo is carried in.
